We Are Friends

Whether the day is good or bad,

Whether I'm feeling happy or sad,

If I have a need, you’ll comprehend;

You’ll be there to share and be a friend.

Other people may fill my day,

But never in such an important way;

We support each other ‘round all life’s bends,

It feels so good that we are friends.

The Princess

There is a princess that lives in a little cottage with little land surrounding it. She's not like other princesses in the land. This princess is a writer, a photographer and a violinist. The princess lives with her small family and has little money. Aye, this princess is not like others.

But the princess has a Father in Heaven who owns the cattle on a thousand hills.

I am that princess. I am the princess who longs for peace, joy and gentleness in all people's lives. I am the princess whose spirit roams free as the wild heather and the galloping mustangs.

Getting Ready for a Busy Weekend

I haven't blogged on here lately so I thought I'd share what's new. :)

Things are quite busy around here as we're preparing to spend this weekend in New Mexico with my uncle. We have so much to do before then! On top of that we have a house and a church to clean as well as our OWN house and we are going to a school sale this Friday early in the morning before we leave for NM.

I hope between now and the time we leave I get to go pick up my books at the library so I have something to read along the way.
